Prayer is so important

For months my kids have been keeping me from getting good sleep. I have been so tired that I can not sleep at times or when I do fall asleep and Aaron cries I imagine it is part of my dream and have the hardest waking up. Sometimes when I lay down the second I close my eyes I hear him crying even if he is fast asleep. Any way, I honestly don't know why I did not do it before I mean I would pray that the little amount of sleep I got would be adequate and that God would help me to function on the sleep I did get, but I did not pray for Aaron to sleep. I begged him to sleep, but I never asked God to give him sleep. Til a friend of Daniel's said that we needed to pray for peace and sleep for both of our children. And I thought of course what was I thinking it was so odd that I had not asked for this before. SO.... Now every night before I put the boys down for the night I pray that God will give them good health, peace, and sleep. It is working Aaron is still not sleeping through the night but it does not take 2-3hours to get him back to sleep sometimes it only takes 15 mins. So what I really want to do is encourage others to pray for their children to have peace and sleep. I pray for my boys all the time and always have but, for some reason I never thought about praying for the little things we all need. I feel that God has given me renewed energy and more patience and most of all God has given me peace by giving it to my children.

So I was thinking nice eve for a walk so....

We load up in the wagon great idea right??

well unknown to me Kody decided he would hang out the back so this clever plan ended in this face.
After the giant spill and the bleeding stopped Kody rode for a little while but then chose this method of travel
Poor Kody but we finished our walk and had a good time. The End

A Real Blog

No pictures today just writing. So it is spring break and that means my trusted baby sitter is available. I took the boys to Grammy's and of course Aaron got sick the day before not a big surprise. Kody was healthy that is a surprise any time I have tried to leave my babies with my mom they seem to get sick right before I take them to her. But any way I left them on Monday around 2pm and then went home to relax. Daniel had an X-box 360 party on tuesday so I was pretty busy making sausage balls and tuna salad to help feed all his students that were coming. I took a nap and was a lady of leasure . Any way so Wednesday started and by 11:30 we were bored to death so we watched a movie. And talked about canceling Daniel's pole vault practice and getting back to our kids because we missed them so so so much. So any way we went to practice at 5 and were at the track til around 7:15pm. After that we gathered up fast and headed the 3 hours out to get to our kidos. I have had a hard time being with out my kids. We got here in Brackett a little after 11pm and mom had kept Kody up for us so we could see him. He was so tired but he gave us both a hug and went back and forth between us. It was so very very nice to see my boys. Aaron was asleep and stayed that way until 1 and then I stayed up with him most of the night because he did not want to go back to sleep. But even though I am tired today I am so glad I am back with my kids. I am no longer good at being without them. I sure love my babies. Kody has had a blast playing with all the animals and I am ready to get back to life a usual. We will be heading home in the morning I will miss all of my moms help. Hats off to you MOM you are great and thanks for everything. By the way Aaron is feeling much better.

Busy holidays

It was a very busy Christmas and New Years break. 2 days before Christmas my mother in law was placed in ICU in San Angelo Texas. We stayed in San Angelo til 2 days after Christmas checking on her daily. Things were a little frightening from time to time. We then Traveled to Brackettville to see my family we had a very lovely time and got so many goodies we almost could not fit us Vienna and the boys in the car. Thanks mom and Dad for everything. On top of all that Daniel the sniper took out 2 deer that my mother and I processed before we left. We had to do it before we left so that we could fit both of the deer in the car. We left on New Years Day with enough meat to last a good long while. We were still checking on Daniel's Mom everyday and things were still bad she was not breathing on her own and had pneumonia. So we got home and Daniel had a game and practice on the 2nd and then returned to work on the 3rd. So then on the next weekend we returned to Angelo because we got word that mom was not recovering fast enough and may need surgery. After a very busy hard on Kody Saturday we returned home hearing that Paula was a little better and surgery would not be scheduled right away. Yesterday Paula began doing better and breathing on her own. Today she was moved to her own room out of ICU and is only on oxygen. Thanks be to God for taking care of our family. Also JoLee's extended family had a rough week as well thanks to God for taking care of them as well.

It's almost Christmas

We are all done shopping Yeah!!!! I can not wait this year Kody will know what is going on he is going to have so so so much fun unwrapping his presents. Aaron is growing like a bad weed. I don't remember Kody growing this fast it is so crazy. I love my boys they keep me so so busy. So our Christmas schedule is kind of hectic. We will go to Angelo Thursday morning and stay til Christmas Eve night then we will return home and be home Christmas morning. We will leave early after presents here then we will travel to Brackettville I think we will leave on Thursday or Friday to return home so we can have a day or 2 to recover before Daniel has to return to work. I love family but I am sure I will be worn out traveling with 2 very little ones is pretty difficult sometimes.

The Earth lost a great one

My great grandmother has gone home to the Lord. She was 91 years old and the last granny I had on this earth. Although the funeral was hard it was also a joyous occasion because I know that granny is now not suffering and is rejoicing with those that have gone on before her. This includes my Granny Jones a wonderful Godly lady whom I love very dearly.
I got to see a large number of my extended family whom I have not seen in a very long time. I did not hold Aaron much during lunch because he was busy getting to know the rest of the family.
Granny will be greatly missed and loved forever. She was a great lady and she left a wonderful legacy with over eight great-great grandchildren. I am very greatful that I got to come and see my family and even more greatful that Daniel went with me. I love you Daniel thanks for being there for me.

The longer version

So any way I am getting a little tired of being prego and uncomfortable I mean it is hard when you can not sleep for more than an hour at a time. So I had more contractions more intense and closer together so we went back to the hospital. After having contractions all night well from 10:30pm until 7:30am they quit and I made no progress so they sent me home again. I was very sad and exhausted since I only slept for 45 minutes I felt so bad for my mom she had been home for only 2 hours when I called and it is a four hour trip to the hospital. Kody stayed up til mom got there and that was just about 4:30am. She can work miracles since everyone including Adam and Kari had been trying for hours. Any way I want to extend my sincere apologies to Adam and Kari and mom for coming all that way for a false alarm. Also thank you so so so so so so so so much you made the whole thing so much easier on Daniel and I we really are fortunate to have you. Anyway so when they sent us home they gave me an ambien sleeping pill so I could sleep through any mild contractions that stuff is way powerful. On the way home I had double vision and everything I don't even remeber going to bed. If it had not been for Daniel and Mom being here with Kody things could have been bad. Any way so here I am still Prego and having contractions from time to time. The doctor came and they have scheduled me for induction on Tuesday if I do not go into true labor before then. I am hoping that Friday night will be the night since the weekend would work out well for everyone. Please pray that I will have patience and that this baby will be here soon and healthy. Love to you all-- Sunni

Almost a Baby

Sunni was having contractions last night. They were pretty strong and were about 15 minutes apart. We went to Brownwood and I got excited. The contractions stopped after about an hour, so they sent us home. I only called Sunni's mom, because she has so far to travel. I'm glad I didn't call everyone. So, that is the latest.

Life goes on

So we went to the football game on Friday. Although I had a pretty good time since it is football season we lost 12-49. It was wild one of our players and his counter part in an on field arguement got tossed. And then late on a kick off our team just stood there and watched as commanche recovered it right in front of them on like the 15. Any way I was shocked apparently he thought it was a punt and therefore not a live ball. Oh well I hope it goes better next week especially since it is homecoming.
I also had a doctors appoinment on Friday and found out we are having a baby _____ yep we still don't know boy or girl. I kind of think it is a boy, but we don't KNOW. I also found out that my Blood Pressure is on the rise. When I was prego with Kody My BP is why they enduced and he was born at 37 weeks and 6 days. The doc said that it is very likely that my BP could be worse with this one... So I have to go back in 10 days for a BP test. Daniel is going to go with because if it is elevated they will admit me for tests. I am really worried about all of this because if it gets bad they will admit me for complete bed rest and I don't know what I will do with Kody. I don't want to be away from him and I still have five weeks to go. Oh well life goes on. Please pray that everything will be fine or they will send me home with limited bed rest so I can still keep Kody. Kody is trying to walk and will soon have more bumps and bruises since he is not really good at it yet. He tends to lunge when he gets tired of walking and lands on his chest and sometimes his face. Silly baby. Well, that is it for the update.
